This stoneware cake stand was made using combined wheel throwing and slab-building techniques. It will fit an 8" or 6" cake, a stack of cupcakes, muffins, fruit, or whatever else you may want to show on display.
The imagery on this piece was hand carved and painted using a ceramic process called "sgrafitto". Each piece is uniquely handmade from start to finish; no two pieces are alike, and each is an individual piece of original artwork.
