The farm is a place of constant wonder and perpetual work. It is nestled in the Appalachian hills of Eastern Kentucky.
The earth here is dense and filled with clay veins, but also rich with organic material layered over centuries by the forests.

We experience a connection to this land through the ceramic work we produce, but also
through planting a large garden and harvesting much of what the forest naturally produces.

We also find a great sense of fulfillment through spending time with our animals. The farm is currently home to
one house cat, one German Shepherd, eight chickens, Dante the goat, Dusty the horse, and honeybees. Every day brings about new experiences and learning for all of us. Nestled in between the chicken coop and the horse stall lies our studio.

There is a fluidity to life here as well as a routine. Every morning and evening we do chores, which involves feeding
and caring for the family. Creation of new work happens before, during, and after chores, often times inspired by
the things we see. We strive to live in balance with the cyclical nature of the weather and the rhythms of the earth.
